The two suspects also have a criminal background as they were apprehended previously for demanding INR 10 crore from Zeeshan Siddiqui, the son of late MLA Baba Siddiqui. In the Crime Branch’s investigation, one of the suspects has also admitted that he threatened Rinku for the ransom.
