Young Indian batter Sai Sudharsan shared a positive update regardingRishabh Pant’s injury ahead of the home Test series against South Africa starting on November 14. The wicket-keeper is set to return
in professional cricket after almost four months as he will be seen leading India A in the first unofficial Test match against South Africa A starting on October 30 in Bengaluru.
Rishabh Pant suffered a painful toe injury during the Test series in England and was sidelined for a couple of months. Now, he has been appointed as captain of India A who will host South Africa A for two unofficial Test matches. This series will be also be crucial for Pant to prepare for the two-match home Test series against the Proteas.

A ahead of the first unofficial Test, Sai Sudharsan, who is also a part of India A squad said that Rishabh Pant is looking ‘fitter’ than before and is looking motivated. "Rishabh looks fantastic-actually, maybe fitter, I would say. He had some time to build, put that training into his legs, because sometimes when you get injured, you have that specific time to work on whatever you want. I feel he looks a bit more fit and strong, and as courageous as he always is," Sudharsan said as quoted in NDTV Sports.
"The message from Pant is very clear. We were in a huddle on the first day of training, and he was saying that this is a great opportunity for everybody to get back into the rhythm of the game. At the same time, we are also playing to win, and that is the main thing," the batter from Tamil Nadu further added.
