Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s childhood coach, Manish Ojha, shared a touching story about the young cricket star's mother, Aarti.She used to wake up around 2:00 AM or 2:30 AM every single day to cook. She did not just cook for her son. She made packed lunches for 10 to 15 people. The food was packed for Vaibhav, his father, and their driver. She also packed meals for local bowlers who traveled with them to help Vaibhav practice. At the academy, the extra food went to net bowlers and underprivileged kids who could not afford a good lunch. Coach Ojha noted that whenever bowlers got tired or forgot their food, they ate from Vaibhav’s massive lunch box.
"His mother used to get up at 2 am or 2.30 am and would prepare lunch. Not just for Vaibhav or his father
or their driver, but also for a couple of bowlers who used to come with them. Then there were net bowlers in our academy too”, the coach revealed. Vaibhav was born in Tajpur, a small town in the Samastipur district of Bihar. To get proper cricket training, he had to travel to the Gen-Next Cricket Academy in Patna. This was a long 100-kilometer journey each way. Vaibhav’s mother, Aarti, would go to bed at 11:00 PM and wake up at 2:00 AM or 2:30 AM. "If good bowlers who got tired, forgot to bring their lunch, they would share Vaibhav's food. So 10-15 people used to come regularly, and you understand that getting up at 2 am in the morning, and making food for so many people, you have to understand how big a contribution it is," he added.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi hits 44 on his second match against Afghanistan A in Tri- Nation series
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s explosive 44 runs off 22 balls provided a spectacular opening statement for India A during the ongoing Tri-Nation A-Series at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Sri Lanka. Sooryavanshi was under slight pressure heading into this match. He had scored just 14 runs in India A's opening game against Sri Lanka A. However, he chose to bounce back with absolute aggression against Afghanistan A's bowling squad. Facing Mohammad Ibrahim in the very first over, Sooryavanshi confidently smashed boundaries off his first two deliveries to immediately push the fielders back. He gave the opposition zero time to settle down.

Alongside his opening partner Prabhsimran Singh (who scored 84), Sooryavanshi helped build a massive 74-run partnership in just 7.1 overs. This initial explosion gave India A immense early momentum. In the IPL, Sooryavanshi became famous for hitting massive aerial sixes into the crowd. Yet, on a Dambulla pitch that offered extra help to the bowlers, he showed true cricket intellect by keeping the ball grounded.His entire innings of 44 runs consisted of nine fours and absolutely zero sixes.
