The highly anticipated BGMI Showdown 2025 (BMSD 2025) is set to kick off on 18 September, featuring 48 teams from BGIS, BMPS, and approved third-party tournaments. The Grand Finals of the event will take place at an offline LAN event in Hyderabad from 10 to 12 October. These teams will compete for the prestigious title, INR 1 Crore prize pool, and a golden opportunity to represent India at PMGC 2025. BMSD 2025: Dates and Format
The BGMI Showdown 2025 will take place from 18 September to 12 October. 48 teams from the BGIS, BMPS, and approved third-party tournaments will compete.
Round 1
Lower Bracket
(18 to 21 September)

24 teams, 3 groups round-robin → Top 12 → QF, Bottom 12 eliminated
Lower Bracket will be played from 18 to 21 September, where a total of 24 teams will be divided into 3 groups of 8 teams each. Matches will be played in a round robin format, and the top 12 teams will qualify for the quarter-finals, while the rest of the teams will be eliminated.
Upper Bracket (22 to 25 September)
- 24 teams, 3 groups round-robin → Top 12 → Semis, Bottom 12 → QF
Upper Bracket will be played from 22 to 25 September. The 24 teams will be divided into 3 groups, and the matches will be played in a round robin format. The top 12 teams will advance to the semi-finals, while the rest of the 12 teams will move to the quarter-finals.
Quarter Finals (26 to 29 September)

24 teams (12 LB + 12 UB), 16 matches → Top 12 → Semis, Bottom 12 eliminated
Quarter Finals will be played from 26 to 29 September, featuring the top 12 teams from the Lower Bracket and the bottom 12 teams from the Upper Bracket. A total of 16 matches will be played, and the top 12 teams will advance to the semi-finals, while the rest of the teams will be eliminated.
Semi Finals (4 to 7 October)
- 24 teams, round-robin → Top 8 → Finals, Bottom 16 → Survival Stage
Semi Finals will be played from 4 to 7 October, where 24 teams will be divided into 3 groups. The matches will be played in a round robin format, and the top 8 teams will qualify for the Grand Finals, while the rest of the 16 teams will move to the Survival Stage.
Survival Stage (08–09 October)

Bottom 16 from SF → Top 8 → Finals
Survival Stage will be played from 8 to 9 October, featuring the bottom 16 teams from the semi-finals. A total of 12 matches will be played, and the top 8 teams will qualify for the Grand Finals, while the rest of the teams will be eliminated.
BGMS 2025 Grand Finals
- 16 teams (8 from SF + 8 from SS)
The top 16 teams (Top 8 from semi-finals + top 8 from Survival Stage) will compete in a total of 18 matches in a LAN finals in Hyderabad from 10 to 12 October. The top-ranked team from the overall standings will be crowned champion of BGMI Showdown 2025.
