Should Mick Schumacher step - or not step into - IndyCar racing seems to be big question at this point in time. And whether or not the German has a take or not about his own next possible racing adventure, Mr Helmut Marko has his take for sure. And why won’t he, no?
Below is what the key constituent of Red Bull’s think tank had to say on the Schumacher family’s finest contribution to the F1 world. "The series is a good series, it's very competitive.[It could be] a good step for the German. He (Mick Schumacher had a very encouraging test there. If he feels comfortable in America, learns the oval tricks - and he'll need a few races for that - then it will certainly go well," said Helmut Marko.
It will certainly go well; said Helmut Marko about Mick Schumacher's IndyCar prospects
As a matter of fact, it wasn’t too long ago that Mick
Schumacher, formerly with the noted Haas racing team took part in his first IndyCar test perhaps in a bid to further his racing resume, understandably outside the realm of Grand Prix racing. The talented German driver who sadly couldn’t leave a lasting impression in the F1 world participated in his first ever test with the noted Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team. And this test happened in October.
Interestingly, Mr Marko also exclaimed his enthusiasm about Schumacher perhaps taking well to his new racing adventure should it come true and would state in no uncertain terms the following. The Red Bull veteran added, "He feels comfortable in America, learns the oval tricks - and he'll need a few races for that - then it will certainly go well."
