PUBG Mobile 4.1 update is set to release in November 2025, and the Beta update has revealed some shocking balance changes. According to the beta version, the AR weapons in the game, like M416, AKM, and ScarL,
are getting nerfed in the upcoming 4.1 update. This means that ARs will now deal less damage per bullet compared to their current stats.
AR guns getting nerfed in PUBG Mobile 4.1 update
According to the beta version, the Assault Rifles, aka AR weapons, will be nerfed in the upcoming PUBG Mobile 4.1 update. This means that the damage of popular ARs like AKM, M416, SCAR-L, AUG, Beryl M762, and Groza will be reduced in the upcoming update.
Additionally, with AR', the SMG weapons will get the same balance change. If this change is added in the main update, then the shotgun meta will definitely rise in PUBG Mobile. Currently, most players prefer shotguns over ARs in close range, and after this update, we might get to see some bolt action in mid-range fights. However, the final decision on the damage drop of ARs and SMGs will be taken after the beta test.
