While India is hosting West Indies in a two-match Test series, Pakistan is hosting World Test Champions, South Africa in an all-format tour, consisting of two Tests, three T20Is and as many ODIs. The tour began
on Sunday, October 12 with the first Test, which is being played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. For the unversed, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat.
As they kickstarted their innings, Pakistan lost their first wicket in the opening over as Abdullah Shafique departed after having scored just two runs. However, Imam-ul-Haq along with skipper Shan Masood, the side stitched a crucial 161-run stand for the second wicket. After Shan Masood’s dismissal, Babar Azam took the guards, but had a day to forget as he was dismissed after adding just 23 runs off 48 deliveries.

Seeing the former Pakistan skipper fail to perform with the bat, former Pakistan cricketer turned commentator, Ramiz Raja was heard mocking at him. The incident occurred in the 49th over of the innings when Babar Azam was given out, caught behind. However, Babar consulted with his batting partner and went for the review to eventually overturn the decision. When the third umpire was waiting for the snickometer, Ramiz Raja was heard saying in the background, "Ab ye drama karega."

He didn't say it while commentating, but might have forgotten that his mic was on. The video of the same has gone viral on social media and since then, Babar Azam fans are slamming Ramiz for his derogatory comment.
Speaking of the match, after opting to bat first, the side posted 313 runs at the loss of five wickets in 90 overs. Pakistan will resume from where they left on Day 1 with Mohammad Rizwan (62*) and Salman Ali Agha (52*) batting.
