Australia and India will lock horns in the third ODI of a three-match series at Sydney Cricket Ground on October 25. Australia have already won the series with consecutive wins in the first two matches
and will be looking to whitewash India by 3-0. On the other hand, the Men in Blue will aim to end the series on a winning note and Shubman Gill will look for his first win as an ODI captain of India.
India can’t win the series from here and they are likely to make a few changes in their playing XI for the third ODI. There have been several talented players who are a part of the ODI squad but couldn’t make it to the playing XI in the first two matches. Openers: Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill (C)

India will look to continue with their opening pair skipper Shubman Gill and former captain Rohit Sharma for the third ODI against Australia. Rohit looked in good touch with his 73-run knock. However, Gill is yet to get a big knock in the series and will be looking to make a statement in the final ODI.
Middle-Order: Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (wk)

In the middle-order, India are unlikely to make any changes as they will go with senior players like Virat Kohli, vice-captain Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul. Kohli has been struggling with form as he failed to get off the mark in both the previous. However, the management will back him in the final ODI of the series. Apart from that, Iyer showed great form with his 61-run knock in Adelaide while Rahul has proved himself to be a crucial batter in the middle-order.
All-rounders: Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel

Talking about the all-rounders, India are unlikely to make any change and will continue to go with players like Axar Patel, Washington Sundar and Nitish Kumar Reddy. Axar played a handy knock of 31 runs in the first ODI and scored crucial 44 runs in the second ODI while Reddy gave finishing touches with 19*(11 Perth).
Bowlers: Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh

India are likely to make one change in their lineup and might bring Kuldeep Yadav in the playing in place of fast bowler Harshit Rana in the third ODI. There has been a lot of debate regarding Kuldeep Yadav’s selection in the playing XI and the management is likely to give him a chance in Sydney.
