Speaking on Samaa TV, Shahid Afridi dropped a grin and quipped, “Unhone IPL mein bhi toh umpiring karni hai (He has to umpire in the IPL too).” While his comments suggested bias towards India, it drew laughter in the studio.

Not only this, Md Yousuf also backed Afridi, stressing that Fakhar Zaman’s wicket came just as at the moment when he seemed to have begun dominating India. “They didn’t even check many angles. Fakhar had hit three fours and handled Bumrah with ease in the first over. His wicket was crucial for India,” Yousuf said.
