One of the most beloved darling Cricketers of our generation has been none other than that man called Christopher Henry Gayle, AKA Chris Gayle, also known as the universe boss. And there is a reason for that. For someone who made batting looks like much fun and hit sixes out of share pleasure for the love of batting. It was a great side to see Chris Gayle live in action, and whenever he was doing that sixes fell like raindrop water all around.
That time again for the West Indies team. That time again in the IPL for the RCB camp and later on for Punjab Kings. And now Chris Gayle the entertainer that he is the entertainer that he has always been being entertained by none other than Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, another left hander.
Last evening, Sooryavanshi
played, devastating innings falling shot by just three runs to what could have been a brilliant well deserved and remarkable century. And only made 97 vital and precious runs that was central and definitive towards Rajasthan Royals’ victory over the SRH camp.
And it turns out that Sooryavanshi's batting echoed something within Chris Gayle so much so that it entertained the giant man from Jamaica only for the left hander to emerge with dollops of praise that he showered and rightly so on the emerging great of the IPL. What a fascinating knock that was one that featured no fewer than 12 sixes.
And it seems that this is a West Indian praising an Indian cricketer time and must that be said with due consideration. But how so? Not long after Andre Russell showered heaps of Price on Sooryavanshi, given his definitive knock of 97 saying that “do not worry about what critics say about your age. Just go for it, and I am already a fan”, even Chris Gayle emerged with great praise on his Instagram, putting a story in honour of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
Labelling his batting as an act of carnage and calling the Cricketer a six hitting machine, which, by the way Chris Gayle was himself known as and still known to be even as on date, the left hander from West Indies did not stop at lodging the young Indian cricketer, and this was such a beautiful sight.
Chris Gayle Hito held the record for hitting the most IPL sixes in a single season, but now that record has already been broken by Sooryavanshi. And emphatic feet beautifully done by roing left hand who seems completely unflustered by any kind of bowling attack, whether be it spin or medium pace. The road ahead seems to be glorious and riddled with success for the very able Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and now Price is coming to him from all, including the grades of the game, who are recognising his craft.
