Jemimah Rodrigues, the Indian right-handed batter, brought up her third Women’s One Day International (WODI) in the semi-final of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup (CWC) 2025 against Australia. In pursuit
of the 339-run target, the 25-year-old, who came out to bat at No. 3, needed 115 balls to get to the milestone moment, which happened on a delivery bowled by pacer Megan Schutt.
The first 100 runs of Jemimah Rodrigues had two distinct phases, starting with regular accumulation of strike coupled with boundaries at the best possible time, to keep the required run rate in check while chasing a big total. After getting to 75 runs in just 76 balls, she found it difficult to get boundaries apart from playing a few dots too many, scoring the next 25 runs in 39 balls to get to the three-figure score.
