NEOM city. The stadium will be one of key venues of the distinguished tournament and it will also accommodate upto 46000 spectators. As per reports from a sports media site Transfer News Live, construction is scheduled to kick off in 2027 and is expected to be concluded by 2032.

Saudi Arabia will take over the hosting rights from the 2030 World Cup, which will be jointly staged by Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. The 2030 World Cup edition will be the first time when Europe and Africa will collaborate with each other to host the grand football event. To celebrate the centenary of the tournament, three matches in 2030 will also be played in South American nations Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay
