Just before the start of the highly anticipated Group A clash between India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the announcement about the national anthem of both the teams was made. But, instead of playing the Pakistan national anthem, the DJ apparently played the “Jalebi Baby” song by Jason Derulo, leaving the players of the Men in Green completely stunned on the field before the mistake was corrected.
The incident had led to criticism on social media for the organisers of the Asia Cup 2025 amid the backdrop of the sour political and people-to-people relationship between India and Pakistan. Some sections of the fans and media have already boycotted the contest between the two arch-rivals in cricket,
and now, the national anthem blunder from the DJ has sent the environment to the edge, especially off the pitch.

Moreover, the Indian cricket team is currently in a strong position to win the Asia Cup 2025 Group A clash after reducing Pakistan to just 127/9 in their allotted 20 overs and reaching 42/2 in four overs.
