The highly anticipated and one of the most important tournaments for underdogs in India, the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2026, is set to kick off in January 2026. BGIS 2025 Registrations and Schedule
In the BGMI 2026 Esports roadmap, Krafton India Esports announced the BGIS 2025 registrations and schedule window.
The BGIS 2026 registrations are set to kick off at the end of December 2025. So gamers must get ready with their squads, as anybody can register for one of the biggest esports tournaments in India.
The tournament will be played from January to March 2026. There will be multiple online rounds like online qualifiers,
round 1,2,3, quarterfinals, semi finals, and the Grand Finals will take place offline in March 2026.
BGMI 2026 Esports Roadmap
BGIS (BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES): The starting point for every aspirant; open registrations for all players
- Registrations open: End of December 2025
- (Tentative) Tournament window: January to March 2026
BMPS (BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA PRO SERIES): The proving ground for India’s top professional teams.
- Tournament window: May - June 2026
- Winner earns a slot at the Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh, July 2026
BMSD (BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SHOWDOWN): A high-intensity LAN competition that pits India’s best against each other for national dominance

BMIC (BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA INTERNATIONAL CUP): The grand international finale, where India battles Korea and Japan on home turf for global glory
- (Tentative) Tournament window: October 2026
- Format- International LAN event (India vs. Korea vs. Japan)
2025 has been one of the best years for BGMI Esports, and the upcoming year is again filled with four major tournaments, and BGIS 2026 is going to be the most important one for underdogs.
