Hardik Pandya took a stunner to dismiss Devon Conway. It was one of the most athletic effort from the Indian all-rounder. Conway was dismissed for one run of two balls. It was the fifth time Harshit Rana
has dismissed Devon Conway. In the first over, Devon Conway tried to hit it over mid-off and for a moment he would have thought that the ball would clear the fielder easily but Hardik Pandya who was stationed at mid off jumped and grabbed a stunner. The fans were in awe and so were the players. Even the commentators were all in praise for that catch. That wicket definitely belonged to the fielder. Watch the video here.

In the third T20I match of the series, India opted to bowl first and New Zealand lost an early wicket due to this stunner. Later Rachin Ravindra started with a beautiful boundary early on but was dismissed cheaply as Ravi Bishnoi plucked another outstanding catch as Rachin Ravindra was dismissed for just four runs by Hardik Pandya. Then Bumrah came into the attack and got a breakthrough straight away as New Zealand were reduced to 34/3 after Jasprit Bumrah bowled a beauty to dismiss Tim Seifert for 12.
They were in all sorts of trouble but Glenn Phillips and Mark Chapman have come together and consolidated well as New Zealand were 75/3 after 10 overs. But soon Ravi Bishnoi struck again as to dismiss Mark Chapman to peg New Zealand back further. It looks a very good wicket and New Zealand would need a big flourish in the final ten overs to try and get a competitive score.
Currently, India are leading the series 2-0 and with three matches left they will look to seal the series. In the previous match, New Zealand scored 209 while batting first and India chased down the target within 16 overs. Ishan Kishan was the player of the match scoring 76 while Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav scored a half century and returned to form. This five match T20I series provides a good opportunity for both these teams have good preparations ahead of the 2026 T20 World Cup.
