Shubman Gill scored a dominating double century against England in the second match at Birmingham. He scored 269 runs of 387 balls and his knock included 30 fours and 3 sixes. It was also the best score by an Indian captain, surpassing the unbeaten 254 Virat Kohli.
India lost the opening match of the series and there were questions on the newly appointed skipper Gill. He responded in fine fashion scoring 269 in Birmingham and helped India script a monumental victory.

Wiaan Mulder 367 vs ZIM, 2nd Test
Wiaan Mulder broke plenty of records in a stunning triple hundred knock against Zimbabwe. His innings included 49 fours and four sixes. In the same innings, Mulder became the South African with the highest individual score, going past Hashim Amla’s 311.
He was 33 runs short of Brian Lara’s record of 400 but chose not to break it as South Africa declared at 626/5. This 367 by Mulder is the highest score by an batter away from home and it was also his captaincy debut for South Africa.

Aiden Markram 136 WTC Final
Aiden Markram scored 136 runs in 207 balls with 14 fours to help South Africa register their first title as they beat Australia by seven wickets to win the WTC Trophy.
Aiden Markram was out for a duck in the second innings. But he bounced back in style as South Africa were set a target of 282 by Australia. Aiden Markram played a terrific knock in a fourth innings run chase as he put up147 run stand with skipper Bavuma as they put South Africa in a winning position. Kyle Verreyne hit the winning runs for South Africa to take them to their first ICC title since the ICC Knockout 1998.

Joe Root 166 vs WI in 2nd ODI
Joe Root produced a masterclas scoring 166 runs from 139 balls as England chased down a target of 309 with seven balls remaining against West Indies.
During this knock he also went past Eoin Morgan and became the leading run getter for England in ODI cricket. England were in early trouble and at 93/4 it looked tough to chase the target but Joe Root held one end and finished things off in style to help England win the match.

Abhishek 135 of 54 vs ENG 5th T20I
Abhishek Sharma smashed a 37-ball hundred against England in the final match of the T20I series and finished with 135 of just 54 balls.
His score of 135 was the most ever made by an India batter in the T20I format. Abhishek also scored second fastest half-century and smashed 13 sixes in a single innings which is the most by any Indian batter in this format.
