Team Indiaopener Abhishek Sharma recently opened up about his famous handwritten note celebration while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the IPL 2025 match. In the latest
installment of the cash-rich league, Abhishek struggled to be among the runs in initial games but against PBKS in Hyderabad, he came heavily on bowlers and smashed an unbeaten 141 off 55. During the game, when Abhishek completed his ton, he was seen celebrating in a unique way. The southpaw took a handwritten note out of his pocket which displayed “This one’s for the Orange Army”.
Discussing his celebration on "Breakfast With Champions" show with Gaurav Kapur, Abhishek Sharma said that it was Shikhar Dhawan’s idea to manifest that he has already achieved success. “Shikhar Dhawan had told me that manifestation is important, just manifest that you have already done it. He invited me to his home to have this conversation. He made me start writing in a diary. “One thing is visualizing that I will do it, and the other is to visualize that I am doing it. That I am the best player of India, I have won many matches for the team, he made me write this,” said Abhishek.

So instead of that, I thought to write a chit. I wrote 'This one is for Orange Army'. I kept it in my pocket. When I got to my fifty, I did not remember I had it too. I kept playing and the moment I made a hundred and celebrated, I remembered it and took the chit out,” added the 25-year-old.
