He was dismissed by Marco Jansen as Quinton de kock completed the catch. Pretoria struggled their way to just a touch over 150 at the halfway mark, but a lot of the scoring was done by Brevis.

Pretoria Capitals were batting first and were in all sorts of trouble as they lost two wickets with just one run on the board. Esterhuizen was dismissed off the fourth ball for a duck and then Shai Hope lost his wicket in the next over. As they were in deep trouble, Dewald Brevis joined Bryce Parsons and the duo stitched up an excellent partnership of 96 runs as they consolidated the Pretoria Capitals innings. Parsons was dismissed for 30 as they lost their third wicket with the score of 98. One again Jordan Cox failed to deliver and the Capitals were 108/4.

Sherfane Rutherford, the inform batter came in and started really well scoring a couple of sixes but soon he was dismissed by Nortje. Dewald Brevis continued his sublime touch in the other end, as he reached his century. Brevis smashed seven sixes and eight fours in this knock and took the bowlers to the cleaners. Soon after the century he lost his wicket and Pretoria could not recover as they finished on 158/7. The surface was really good for batting and this is a below par total but given it is the big finals and Pretoria have a good bowling attack so this can be a competitive match. Sunrisers Eastern Cape require 159 runs of 20 overs to win the Final and it promises to be a thrilling one.
