Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s last international assignment was the Champions Trophy 2025 played in Pakistan and Dubai. India refused to travel to Pakistan and played their matches in Dubai only. Under Rohit’s leadership, the Men in Blue won the tournament after beating New Zealand in the final played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
In India’s third Champions Trophy title triumph, Virat Kohli contributed 218 runs with a hundred in five matches at an average of 54.50. Rohit shone with his bat in the final against New Zealand. He smashed 76 (83) and won the Player of the Match (POTM) award in his team’s four-wicket win.
