After the completion of the two-match Test series against West Indies, the Indian cricket team have their eyes set on the white-ball tour of Australia, which is set to commence from October 19. Notably,
the white-ball tour consists of three ODIs, followed by five-match T20I series. While the series will start with the ODI leg, the T20I leg will be played from October 29 to November 9.
Ahead of the much-anticipated series, the Indian cricket early on Wednesday, October 15 departed for Australia. The upcoming series proves key seeing the Indian cricket team start preparation for the T20 World Cup, set to be played in February-March 2026 in India and Australia. All the more, the series will also see veterans Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli return in the Indian colours after last featuring in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 title triumph.

Shreyas Iyer, Dhruv Jurel, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Harshit Rana, KL Rahul, Wahsington Sundar, Arshdeep Singh and several others were spotted leaving days ahead of the series.
