The Australian opener Travis Head was seen to be sharing a moment with “Champak”, when he was walking out to bat against the Mumbai Indians. The opening pair of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head were walking out to bat in the 2nd innings, and suddenly Travis Head felt like something was on his leg. Suddenly, when he checked it was the robotic dog of the IPL, Champak, and he playfully even threatened to hit it. It was a hilarious moment for the spectators as they did not expect something like that to happen and Travis Head’s reaction to it doubled the fun.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad were dominant in the game against the Mumbai Indians as they chased down a total of 244. The woes of the Mumbai Indians have been never ending in the season as they have lost
their 6th game. The Sunrisers Hyderabad on the other hand have been creeping up to the top of the ladder and because of their poor start to the season, they have gone under the radar. Abhishek Sharma’s form has been their biggest positive of the season as he has been amongst the runs and has scored some crucial runs for his side.

Head’s explosive return powers SRH to a dominant chase against MI
In the game against the Mumbai Indians, the Sunrisers Hyderabad weren’t at their best in the first innings in terms of execution of plans. Ryan Rickelton and Will Jacks gave a staggering start to the Mumbai Indians in the power play and they looked well in control of the game. But after the first couple of wickets fell, things seemed to slow down for the home side and they couldn’t keep up their scoring rate. Ryan Rickelton smashed a fine century and he carried the Mumbai batting unit along with Hardik Pandya, who played a neat cameo towards the end. The target of 243 didn’t exactly loom large on the Sunrisers Hyderabad with the kind of batting they had and the form of Abhishek Sharma.
However, the Mumbai Indians would have been taken by surprise as Travis Head has been quiet all season and they would have expected Abhishek Sharma to upset their plans. Head was off to a phenomenal start in the innings as he hit Trent Boult for three sixes in an over. From then on, the bowler didn’t really matter as Travis Head had entered his groove. He stood his crease for a long time and ensured that the Sunrisers Hyderabad were in the driver’s seat at the time of his dismissal. Travis Head scored 76 off 30 balls, including 4 fours and 6 8 sixes, striking at 253.33.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad will be delighted with the knock of Travis Head as he is back at his best. The opening duo of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head has caused nightmares for bowling attacks in the previous seasons, and the signs look even more promising this time out. They will be hopeful that they can make it to the playoffs with this kind of batting prowess.
