The Indian women’s cricket team has been in prime form off late as they handed defending champions Australia Women a five-wicket defeat in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 semi-final, held on Thursday,
October 30 in Navi Mumbai. However, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side went down against the reigning champions in the league stage, they avenged their defeat and came out victorious.
With this victory, India not only ousted Australia from the competition, but has now setup the summit clash against South Africa Women. While the Women in Blue will be hoping to continue this momentum into the final, they will look to extend this streak in the forthcoming series, scheduled for this year.
