On the latest episode of his show on ESPN, Pat McAfee confirmed that John Cena and Brock Lesnar will kick off the highly anticipated WWE Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event (PLE) in Indianapolis, which is set to take place on Saturday, September 20, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. John Cena, who is on the home stretch of his farewell tour, which will end in December of this year, will be stepping into the ring with one of his biggest nemesis in WWE history.
Notably, Wrestlepalooza is the first-ever WWE PLE set to be available on ESPN after both the companies signed a multi-year deal to stream pro-wrestling content in the States. Pat McAfee, who has been a big part of WWE as a color commentator and occasional wrestler for the better of last decade, will
be at Gainbridge Fieldhouse this weekend, commentating on the upcoming show.

John Cena is the one of only a select few WWE superstars to have beaten Brock Lesnar twice on a PLE, and he will have to bring his A game and then some, to get the better of the Beast Incarnate this time around at Wrestlepalooza. Over the years, Lesnar is known to make his WWE return by targeting Cena, and he will have a definite game plan to combat the threat of the Leader of Cenation on his farewell tour.
In one of the other marquee matches at WWE Wrestlepalooza, AJ Lee will team up with her husband CM Punk, to take on Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch and her husband, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, in a mixed tag team contest.
