BGMI 4.1 Update: New Erangel, Release Date, Penguin Town, Winter Mode, and More

BGMI 4.1 Update: Everything you need to know

New Rozhok Water City

 

The BGMI new 4.1 update is set to fully revamp the Rozhok and Water City. The ports and boats have been added in the Water City that looks like the Novo ports, cranes, and much more. Now the fights will be insane in the city after the addition of new locations. Additionally, the whole city is covered in snow. 

Map Updates

Penguin Town Hot Drop: A new hot drop zone called Penguin Town is coming to the Erangel map. This area includes a Penguin Statue where you can camp, and a crate that can be looted after a timer.

Snow Festival: Erangel will feature a new Snow Festival event.

New Gear and Items

Fish Rocket Launcher: A new weapon called the Fish Rocket Launcher will be available, which you can use to shoot and damage your enemies.

Blue Fin Tuna Syringe: This new boost item will not only increase your health but also make you run faster, helping you outrun bullets.

Ice Utility Items: You can use a new item to make your enemies slip and slide on the ice. There's also a flame launcher you can use to propel yourself.

Gameplay Improvements

New Looting Abilities: The update will introduce new ways to loot, including picking up crates without fear, looting from a 'grave' (death box), and even picking up loot from a moving truck.

In-Game Companions/NPCs: You will find new friendly Non-Player Characters (NPCs) in Erangel. These 'friends' include the Thief, Polar Bear Fox, Ninja Blacksmith, Penguin, and Wizard Fox.

New Game Mode and Season

Metro Royale Survival Mode: A new survival mode, Metro Royale, is being introduced. In this high-risk mode, your goal is to collect loot and safely extract. You will encounter AI enemies and Elite Bosses.

New Season and Royal Pass: A new season is here, which brings a new Royal Pass loaded with clothes, skins, and emotes.

Cosmetics and Vehicles

Crazy Supercars: The update will feature new, crazy supercars.

BGMI new 4.1 update release date and time

The BGMI 4.1 update release date is 13 November 2025. The rollout will start at 6:30 AM for Android and at 9:30 AM for iOS. The update will be available to download from official website at 12:30 PM IST.
