COC October Update 2025: New Magic Shield, Revenge System, and Spring Rework

1. The New Shield (Magic Shield)

The old shield is gone. Now we have the Magic Shield, and players can get it if someone steals 30% or more of their loot. You can attack other players while your shield is on. It will not break or get shorter.

If someone attacks you while your shield is on, they attack a copy of your base. You do not lose any more loot. This

shield is only for the normal "Battle Mode," not the new "Ranked Mode".

2. The Revenge Button Finally Works

The "Revenge" button used to be useless because everyone had a shield. Now it works because you can attack a base that has a Magic Shield.

After someone attacks you and takes 30% or more of your loot, you have 12 hours to attack them back (Revenge).

3. Stronger Spring Trap

The Spring Trap is much better now. It can now hurt big troops or push them back. For small troops, the trap can still throw one small troop off the map completely.

If a troop is too big, the trap will deal damage and push them into the air for a moment. This helps stall them, and it now affects all ground troops.

4. Easier Upgrades and Money Changes

Upgrading Heroes and buildings will take less time and cost fewer resources. Heroes are about 20% faster to upgrade. You don't have to upgrade your Town Hall weapon as many times anymore, making it easier to move up. The cart that gives you back some of your lost loot now gives less (10% instead of 20%).
