Three time IPL winners Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR) shared a heartfelt post on their social media as a tribute to their co-owner Shah Rukh Khan. The legendary Bollywood actor recently won Best Actor award

in the 71st National Awards for his role in Jawan. Notably, this was also the first National Award for Shah Rukh Khan in his career of 33 years.

After achieving this historic feat, Shah Rukh Khan has been getting praises from several renowned names from different fields. Further in their post, Kolkata Knight Riders heaped praise on Shah Rukh after his first National Award win and called it a moment for history.“@iamsrk, your first National Award is a moment for history, and your Knight Riders couldn’t be prouder. To our heartbeat, our boss man, our 12th man, our forever King—this one’s as special as you are,” the franchise further wrote.

A day before, KKR’s sister franchise Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) also ended up winning their fifth title in the Caribbean Premier League. TKR defeated Guyana Amazon Warriors by three wickets in the final of CPL 2025 to add another silverware in the Knight Riders’ trophy cabinet. With this, the Knight Riders now have eight titles to their name including three in IPL and five in the CPL.
