BMIC 2025: Top 5 players to watch out for from Korea and Japan

BMIC 2025, the first-ever multinational tournament of the BGMI esports since 2023, is set to take place from 31st October to 2nd November in Delhi, where we will see some of the world's most dominant teams

from South Korea and Japan competing alongside Indian clubs. This means the prominent players from the PUBG Mobile esports are coming to India to showcase their skills. In this article, we are going to discuss the top 5 players to watch out for in the BGMI International Cup 2025 from Japan and South Korea.

5) TIZ1

Kim "TIZ1" Dong-hyun is a prominent PUBG Mobile player from South Korea who plays for NS RedForce. The 21-year-old is known for his aggressive gameplay and accuracy. He is a two-time PMPS winner and champion of the Esports Championship East Asia 2023. TIZ1 also dominated in the international lobbies like PMGC and the World Cup.

TIZ1 is a two-time MVP of the PMPS, secured 20 eliminations in the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2025 Grand Finals, and 20 in the PMGO 2025 Main Events (4th highest finisher overall).

4) SaRa

Kento "SaRa" Suzuki is a 23-year-old Japanese PUBG Mobile esports player who plays for REJECT. The assaulter is one of the most dominating players in his region and also showcased some amazing plays on the international stages, such as PMGO, PMGC, and PUBG Mobile World Cup. 

He is the six-time champion of the PUBG Mobile Japan League, won PMGO 2024, and secured 2nd spots in the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024 and PMGC 2024. 

If we talk about the individual performances, the 23-year-old secured 21 eliminations in the PMGC 2024 Grand Finals, 20 in the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024 Finals, and 23 in the PMGO 2024 Main Event. 

3) Cyxae

Choi "Cyxae" Young-jae is a key player of the DRX and one of the best PUBG Mobile players from South Korea. The 21-year-old is a three-time champion of the PMPS (Pro League of South Korea), helped the team to secure top 4 in both the 2024 and 2025 PUBG Mobile World Cup, and top 6 in PMGC 2024. 

If we talk about his individual stats, Cyxae has 22 eliminations in the Grand Finals of the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2025 (Most from his team) and 17 in PMGC 2024 Finals, 23 in PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024 Grand Finals (9th in the most elimination list). Cyxae is one of the most consistent players in the PUBG Mobile esports. 

2) Nolbu 

If we check his MVP awards, the 19-year-old has a lot of MVP awards, including PMGC 2024 MVP, India-Korea Invitational MVP, PMPS 2024 Season 2 and Season 3 MVP, and PMPS 2025 Season 2 MVP. His consistency and dominance are top-notch. Nolbu is one of the top contenders for the BMIC 2025 MVP title.

1) Reiji

Reiji "Reiji" Maeda is one of the legends of the PUBG Mobile esports. The Japanese players who play for REJECT have two S-tier PUBG Mobile MVP titles, including PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024 MVP and PMGO 2024 MVP. Additionally, he has won three MVP titles in PUBG Mobile Japan League and other prominent awards, like for most finishes, most damage, and more. 

He secured the 34 finishes in the PMGO 2024 Grand Finals (Most by any player), 33 in the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024 (Most by any player), and 14 in PMGO 2025.

Reiji has won PUBG Mobile trophies, like PMGO 2024, and won the PUBG Mobile Japan League six times. Also secured 2nd place in the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024.
