KL Rahul appreciates Rishab Shetty’s performance in mythological action drama 'Kantara: Chapter 1'

KL Rahul has praised Rishab Shetty’s performance in Kantara Chapter 1. Rahul, who is a Bengaluru-based cricketer, is an avid fan of the Sandalwood film industry. Following the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 game between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, when Rahul guided the former to a six-wicket win, the right-handed batter hammered 93* off 53 and did a unique celebration after taking his team home. When asked about his celebration, Rahul said it was from one of his favourite movies, Kantara.

On October 2, Kantara: Chapter 1 hit the box office, and the movie has succeeded in winning hearts with its exceptional storyline and magnificent performances by the actors. Rahul, taking to Instagram,

dropped a story and revealed that he was mesmerised by Rishab Shetty’s performance in the blockbuster film. The 33-year-old Indiabatter penned, “Just watched Kantara, Blown away by the magic @rishabhshettyofficial has created yet again. All heart and beautifully represents the people and belief of magaluru.”

Varun Chakaravarthy also commended Kantara: Chapter 1
