Mateu Alemany who left his role at FC Barcelona in September 2023 has decided to move on to the next chapter of his career. The 62-year-old has found his new club in La Liga which will be Diego Simeone led Atletico Madrid, one of the most successful clubs in La Liga history after Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. new Director of Men’s Professional football. Alemany will be a new addition to the group of executives led by Carlos Bucero who is currently the General Director of Football at Atletico Madrid.
Alemany steps into his new role today having already met the first team during their training
The Spanish Executive has stepped into his role already as he visited the first team today with the likes of Carlos Bucero as they were training at Majadahonda Sports Centre today. Both the Directors of football have held the required meeting with the Head Coach Diego Simeone and will be hoping to achieve great things together leading to the success of the club in the future.
Alemany will be looking forward to guiding the team in a positive direction and cater with all the requirements of the players essential for boosting their performance. He will be looking forward to achieving more success with Atletico Madrid than he did at any of his previous clubs.
