Full Schedule of Warm up matches for 2026 WT20 released, India ‘A’ to play two matches

ICC have announced the schedule for the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup warm-up matches on Monday. The upcoming T20 World Cup is set to be held from February 7 to March 8 in both India and Sri Lanka. India ‘A’ are expected to play two practice games against Namibia and USA. On the other hand, defending champions India led by Suryakumar Yadav will face off South Africa and it will be their only warm up match. The first set of warm up matches are scheduled on 2nd February with Afghanistan taking on Scotland at the COE in Bengaluru. USA will take on India ‘A’ in Navi Mumbai and Canada will be up against Italy in the third warm up fixture of the day.

There will be another triple header on 3rd February with Oman taking on Sri Lanka ‘A’ side and Netherlands

up against Zimbabwe. Both these matches will be played at Colombo. Nepal will take on UAE which will be played in Chennai. On the 4th of February there are four warm up matches. Scotland will take on Namibia and Afghanistan will be up against West Indies. Both these matches will be played in Bengaluru. Pakistan will take on Ireland and India will be up against South Africa.

Another set of matches on 5th February where Zimbabwe will take on Oman and Australia will take on Netherlands. Both these matches will be played in Colombo. New Zealand will be up against USA and Nepal will take on Canada. 6th February will be the last day of the warm up matches with two more game. The World T20 is set to begin on February 7. All matches in Bengaluru will take place at COE.

6th Feb: Italy vs UAE (Chennai) Namibia vs India A (Bengaluru)
