KL Rahul and Sai Sudarshan lay foundation for the Indian team aiming towards victory
He is displaying some amazing cricketing shots and dispatching the ball towards all parts of the cricket ground. This was Rahul’s 22nd First-Class hundred for India, having made a comeback from the first innings having scored only 11 runs from 24 balls before he was cleaned up by the Australian all-rounder Will Sutherland. His partnership with the likes of Sai Sudarshan has laid the foundation for India to aim for victory in the second match.
Jagadeesan, Padikkal and Manav Suthar have all been cleaned up by Todd Murphy in the second innings. However, it has been a great display of valour from Rahul and Sudarshan to stand their ground and keep India in the game. Sudarshan, who was also looking in good shape scoring a century himself has now been cleaned up by Rocchiccioli. It will be interesting to see if Rahul can lead the team all the way from this position.
