In the second ODI between India and Australiain Adelaide, Copper Connolly became the center of attention as he played an instrumental role in the hosts’ two-wicket win. The 22-year-old smashed 61* off
53 and took the Aussie side home after getting to his maiden ODI fifty. Walking into the middle at number five, he supported Matt Short and Mitchell Owen. Following the fall of Owen, Australia lost their tailenders cheaply but Connolly held his nerve and helped Australia cross the line with 22 balls to spare.
