their unbeaten streak over Pakistan Women, making it 12 wins in a row.

Not only did India extend their domination over arch-rivals, it was the fourth consecutive Sunday that saw India beat Pakistan. While the previous three came during the Asia Cup 2025, where India defeated Pakistan in group stage by seven wickets, followed by a six-wicket win in Super Four and a five-wicket victory in the final.

Just minutes after the win, former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan took to social media to take an indirect dig at the near neighbours without naming them. “Just another Sunday of Eat. Sleep. Win. Repeat. Team India,” wrote Irfan Pathan in X, which has been going viral.

Speaking of the Women in Blue, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side are currently leading the points table with two wins in as many matches in the ongoing ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. After beating Sri Lanka by 59 runs via DLS method in the tournament opener, they handed Pakistan Women a defeat by 88-run. They will look to continue their winning streak when they next take on South Africa Women at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam on October 9.
