Strengths
West Indies have retained most of their players from the last WT20 and they have plenty of fire power in the batting and they bat very deep. On good surfaces they could genuinely beat any side
on the given day with their batting strength.
Weaknesses
They lack specialist bowlers and most of their bowlers are all-rounder so on most occasions they concede too many runs and lack wicket-taking bowlers. This is one of their weakness coming into this WT20.
X Factor
Sherfane Rutherford was in stunning form in the recent SA20 and can be the X Factor for West Indies in the middle order. He can bat as per situations which is a big strength and can take the game on and change it while he is at the crease
Preferred Playing XI
Brandon King, Shai Hope(c & wk), Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell, Sherfane Rutherford, Roston Chase, Romario Shepherd, Jason Holder, Matthew Forde, Akeal Hosein, Jayden Seales

T20 World Cup history Snapshot
West Indies won all their four matches in group stage of the 2024 WT20 but failed in the Super 8 where they could win only 1 out of the three matches. They will be hoping for a better performance in this WT20.
