With the international cricketing calendar in full bloom, Afghanistan is currently playing Bangladesh in a white-ball series, consisting of three T20Is and as many ODIs in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). While Bangladesh claimed the three-match T20I series, 3-0, the Afghan Atlans have claimed the ODI series with a match still to be played.
Having won the ODI series by 2-0 margin, the third match is set to be played on Tuesday, October 14 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. But just days ahead of the final match, the Afghan side have been handed a massive setback as they are likely to miss Rahmat Shah, who is struggling with calf strain.

Shah on Saturday, October 11, retired hurt after sustaining the injury, but returned to the crease after the side

We will do all the right things in terms of imaging and stuff tomorrow. He is going to be out for some time, I think," the physio said.
