Star Indian batter Rohit Sharma returned to Mumbai after a three-match ODI series in Australia. On his return, Rohit received a grand welcome at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai as the fans were gathered in large numbers outside the Airport to get his glimpse. Rohit had a great outing in the recently ended ODI series down under.
Despite India losing the series by 1-2, Rohit Sharma went on to become the leading run scorer of the series amassing 202 runs in three matches at an average of 101 including one hundred and a fifty. He also won Player of the series award for his performance and also raised hopes of him playing the 2027 ODI World Cup for India. Now, as Rohit returned to his home town Mumbai, the fans gathered
in large numbers outside the Airport and gave a grand welcome to the star batter.

Now, the Indian team will take on Australia for a five-match T20I series starting on October 29 down under. Notably, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli won’t a part of the T20I series as the duo bid adieu to the format after the T20 World Cup win last year. Now, both Kohli and Rohit are likely to be seen in action again for the upcoming home ODI series against South Africa.
India are scheduled to host the Proteas for an all-format series starting on November 14. The series will include two Test matches, three ODIs and five T20Is. The ODI series will start on November 30 which will mark the return of Kohli and Rohit on the field for Men in Blue.
