Messi’s GOAT Tour of India 2025 to kick off in Kolkata on December 13
The 38-year-old took to Instagram to confirm his tour with the caption reading, “I’m truly excited to be visiting such a beautiful country as India this December. It will be a pleasure to attend concerts, youth football clinics, a paddle cup and launch charitable initiatives during events at iconic stadiums in Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, and maybe one more city…these tickets will be available exclusively on the District app. It will also be an honour to be able to interact and meet with India’s biggest stars and top dignitaries.”
However, in a statement, Messi stated, “It is such an honour for me to make this trip. India is a very special country, and I have good memories from my time there 14 years ago - the fans were fantastic. India is a passionate football nation, and I look forward to meeting a new generation of fans while sharing the love I have for this beautiful game.”
With the tour scheduled to begin from December 13 in Kolkata, it features concerts, GOAT Cup and several other events where Messi will share the field with Indian sports icons like Sourav Ganguly, Bhaichung Bhutia, Leander Peas and others.
