In their third and final Super 4 clash in the Asia Cup 2025, the Indian cricket team made a couple of changes in their playing XI, replacing Jasprit Bumrah and Shivam Dube with Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. At the toss time, after being put into bat first, Suryakumar Yadav said that the decision to bench Jasprit Bumrah and Shivam Dube was taken to give them rest ahead of the all important final of the tournament in two days time.
Notably, India are slated to take on Pakistan in the final of the Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai, and it will be the first-time ever that these two nations will meet in the summit clash of the continental tournament. Before that, the Indian captain talked about the plans of the team
in their Super 4 clash against Sri Lanka, pointing out how they want to continue their rich vein of form in the tournament and stick to basics.
