In the second innings,
India bowlers were expected to dominate Oman's batting attack and bag a convincing win. However, that didn't happen as Oman batters displayed fighting spirit and strove to go close to the target. Top-order batters Aamir Kaleem and Hammad Mirza batted aggressively and produced fifties from their bats.
Kaleem racked up 64 off 46 while Mirza amassed 51 off 33. However, their batting efforts weren't enough to help Oman pull off the target. Eventually, the associate nation surrendered on 167/4 and India won the game by 21 runs and ended the group round as unbeaten with three off three triumphs.
