It's going to be a treat for the wrestling fans all across the world as today, September 20, marks a big day for WWE
and AEW clashing against each other with their premier events. However, it does not seem to be going down well for many, including AEW superstar Eddie Kingston, who is furious with the WWE for announcing an event on the same day as them despite them booking their slots well in advance.WWE has come up with the event called "Wrestlepalooza", which hit the headlines recently after they have announced a clash between two of WWE’s most successful wrestlers John Cena and Brock Lesnar to face each other. This event is also set to mark a return for one of WWE’s most remarkable women's wrestlers AJ Lee after almost a decade as she and her husband
CM Punk will be taking on another couple Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in a mixed tag team match. Because of the decreasing hype of the AEW All Out due to WWE Wrestlepalooza, the AEW have booked a return for their own star Eddie Kingston, who will be seen making a comeback from injury after almost a year.
It's a competition, and it's one place wanting to monopolize: Eddie Kingston
Eddie Kingston, in an interview with CBS Sport, expressed his gratitude to AEW for inviting him on a return to the grand stage. However, he did not care about the competition with WWE to contribute towards him making a comeback. He stated, "I don't think too highly of myself. It's not a beat yourself up thing. I was taught that the meek shall inherit the Earth. So I'm very humbled that they believe I can help in whatever bullshit war or bullshit that's going on. 'Cause all it is, is bullshit. It's a competition, and it's one place wanting to monopolize."
AEW’s founder Tony Khan made a decision to shift the timing of All Out and schedule it at 3pm ET, to avoid a direct clash with Wrestlepalooza as it would hamper the viewership of both the events. It will be interesting to see which event will become the main attraction.
