Emma Raducanu, 22-year-old British professional tennis player, has withdrawn her name from the last two scheduled tournaments in Tokyo and Hong Kong. The reason cited is her health issues, which she has been suffering from the past few days. According to PA news agency, the problem started after Raducanu struggled to play in the Wuhan heat and retired from the first round of the tournament last week. The 2021 US Open winner lost her first round match in Ningbo earlier this week after visiting a doctor to get her blood pressure checked and a physiotherapist to treat a lower back ailment during the contest. After facing issues in playing due to her ill health, she chose to cancel her Asian swing.

She was scheduled to play for the first time in the Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo as one of the main performers later this month.
