Rohit’s hundred was special: Gautam Gambhir
In a video posted by BCCI on their social media, Indian Head Coach Gautam Gambhir praised the team for their efforts in the third ODI in Sydney. Gambhir also spoke about Rohit’s ton and his partnership with Virat Kohli as India won the match by nine wickets.
“We wanted to be desperate, to be hungry, and put our bodies on the line. The bowlers were outstanding — restricting that Australian side to 237 was brilliant. Special mention to Harshit, he was exceptional,” Gambhir.
“The stand between Shubman and Rohit was important, and the one between Rohit and Virat was outstanding. Rohit’s hundred was special, and the way he finished it was even better. Virat’s innings was crucial as well,” he further added.
