Former India captain Virat Kohli was spotted arriving at Kalina Private Airport in Mumbai on Tuesday, October 20. The talismanic batter was dressed in a checked shirt, white trousers, black shoes and brown
cap as he drew attention from fans and photographers. The cricketer’s appearance outside the field often generates considerable interest with fans eager to know about his latest movements and professional commitments.
Kohli, who is only active in the ODI format for the India team, was recently a part of the three-game ODI series against West Indies. In the first ODI, he crossed the 15,000 ODI runs and scored his 55th ODI and 86th overall century. He struck 139 not out from 88 balls and Shubman Gill made 110 as India chased down 296 balls to spare to take a 1-0 lead in the three-game series, which India eventually won 2-1.

Virat Kohli to chase these records in NZ ODI series
India will now tour New Zealand for a multi-format series, beginning on October 22. The five-match ODI series will undergo action from November 4 before a two-match Test series begins on November 19. As for Virat Kohli, he will play his first game on November 4 in Auckland, a day before his 38th birthday. This could also mark his last tour of New Zealand, and he would want to make a significant mark.
On this tour, Kohli could displace Australia’s Ricky Ponting as the batter with the most ODI runs against the Kiwis. Not only this, but Kohli’s tally of seven ODI against New Zealand is already the most for any batter. In addition, Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni are the only Indians with more 50-plus scores in the Kiwi nation with six each. Kohli, on the other hand, has registered five 50-plus scores, and he would seek surpassing the former batters.
