Team India created a massive record as they won the second T20I against New Zealand by a margin of four wickets on Saturday at Christchurch. The three-time T20 World Champions are now the first team to
record their 200th win in the format. They also played their 300th T20 internationals and became the second team after neighbours and arch-rivals Pakistan to do so.
However, when it comes to the number of wins, the Men in Blue are the firsts to record 200th win in the format. The Indian team achieved the milestone as brilliant knocks from Tilak Varma and Nitish Kumar Reddy turned around the game while chasing 181 against Mitchell Santnerโs New Zealand.
During the game, India were once struggling with the bat and had lost five wickets for just 70 runs. However, Varma came up with an unbeaten 51 off 26 balls while Reddy contributed an unbeaten 26 off 13 balls. Their 69-run partnership for the seventh wicket took India to 181/6 in 19.5 overs.

India dominate T20I charts with 200 wins
Team India has played 300 T20Is between 2006 and 2026, winning 200 games, losing 83, and tying seven, while 10 ended without a result. Their win-loss ratio is 2.409, which means they have won more than twice as many matches as they have lost.
