Sharma was seen wearing a yellow T-shirt and jacket, which immediately gave Nayar an opportunity to tease the former India captain. Nayar looked at Rohit’s outfit and, along with the fans, started bringing up Chennai Super Kings by chanting, “CSK, CSK.”
However, Rohit was quick to correct the observation. He pointed out that the colour he was wearing was not yellow but mustard turning the conversation into a light-hearted exchange.
Nayar then took the banter a step further. He suggested that purple and golden colours would look good on Rohit, referring to the colours associated with Kolkata Knight Riders.

Rohit took a second and answered in two words which made everyone cheer for the batter.
As the conversation continued, the fans began chanting “Mumbai, Mumbai”, showing their affection for the veteran batter and their connection with him as a Mumbai Indians icon.
Rohit then responded with just two words: “Forever blue.”
The response immediately triggered loud cheers from everyone present, with the moment quickly becoming one of the highlights of the interaction.
Rohit’s association with Mumbai Indians has been one of the most significant chapters of his IPL career. He joined the franchise in 2011 and went on to lead them to five IPL titles, establishing himself as one of the most successful captains in the tournament’s history.
