Tripura were bowled out for 320. Sushant Mishra was picked up by Rajasthan Royals in the recent IPL Auction.
Sushant Mishra first made impression at the 2020 Under-19 World Cup, where he picked up seven wickets in five matches in India’s run to the final. He had a smooth left-arm action and the ability to hit the 140kph mark regularly and to swing the ball both ways stood out. Sushant was then picked up for 2.2 crore by Gujarat Titans at the 2024 auction, but he did not play a game.
But in 2025, Sushant Mishra with a new hope did really well in the SMAT and during the tournament he was also picked up by Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the IPL auction for 90 lakh. During his previous stint at the IPL with GT was spent on the sidelines and he could not play any single game but he got plenty to learn just being part of the squad.
In a recent interview Sushant Mishra said that he has his eyes set on the IPL “I am looking forward to play matches this year. I will play matches this year and do well for Rajasthan. I want to put my yorkers into good use at the IPL. That’s the goal.” Said Sushant Mishra.
