The Indian cricket team is back in action just days after their recent 2-0 Test series sweep against West Indies at home. The Men in Blue are touring Ausralia for a limited-overs series comprising of three
ODIs and five T20Is. The series commenced from October 19 where the Shubman Gill-led side suffered a seven-wicket drubbing against the Aussies at the Perth Stadium in a rain-interrupted game.
With the second ODI scheduled to be played on Thursday, October 23 at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide, the Men in Blue will have to ponder on their playing combination in order to level the series and take it to the decider, set to be played on October 25 in Sydney. Ahead of the second ODI, the practice session of the visiting side saw a large gathering, including Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar.

While the Indian team has been bolstered by the inclusion of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, the two veterans of the game who have retired from T20Is as well as Tests, but their comeback was one to forget. Coming out to open the innings alongside Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma was dismissed after scoring eight off 14 deliveries, and Virat Kohli departed on an eight-ball duck. But the duo will be eyeing to make a mark in the upcoming fixture.
But ahead of the upcoming second ODI, what caught the eyeballs was animated chat between Gautam Gambhir and Ajit Agarkar including a brief conversation with Yashasvi Jaiswal. Seeing this, several reports have claimed that it might be surrounding Rohit Sharma, who did not looked in his best mood.
As per a report citing RevSportz, Rohit Sharma did not look like his usual self as he walked to the team hotel after the conclusion of the training session. At that very moment, Gambhir and Agarkar were spotted having a lengthy chat. Although, the conversation that the trio had is not known, but it left several thinking of Jaiswal replacing Rohit in the opening slot in the second ODI.
