Indian ODI skipper Rohit Sharma has already called off his career in the T20I and Test format for India respectively. However, the star opening batter is still available for the 50-over format but there is no confirmation regarding his future in ODIs. India’s next ODI assignment will be against Australia as they are scheduled to play three 50-over matches down under starting October 19. Recently, Rohit Sharma shared a couple of images on his latest Instagram post where he hinted his return to the cricket field soon. In one picture, Rohit can be seen running while in another picture he was seen padding up and getting ready for batting practice. After the 38-year-old shared these pictures, the fans were left elevated which can be seen through their comments on the post.
There are also reports coming that both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli can also be seen playing for India A in the upcoming home ODI series against Australia A starting on September 30. Both the players can be seen playing in the junior India team as a part of their preparation for the upcoming Australia tour.
