In the fifth game of the IPL 2026, Delhi Capitals invited Rishabh Pant’s LSG to bat at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Delhi Capitals bowlers were on song and kept the LSG batters under control because of which
the batters just couldn’t score runs, eventually Lucknow Super Giants were bundled out for mere 141 runs and couldn’t even play their 20 overs.
In reply, Rishabh Pant-led Lucknow Super Giants came with set plans. Mohammad Shami picked wicket of the first ball, sending dangerous in-form KL Rahul back to the pavilion for a duck. Similarly, Mohsin Khan and Price Yadav also picked wickets putting Delhi Capitals under pressure.
Delhi Capitals kept struggling as they lost Nitish Rana early, followed by Pathum Nissanka, Sameer Rizvi and even the captain Axar Patel who also registered golden duck.
With Delhi’s batting underperforming, the fans got angry and ended up trolling the franchise on Twitter.
