On Friday, October 10, former India captain Rohit Sharma returned to nets as he began his practise for the highly-anticipated return in the upcoming white-ball tour of Australia. Rohit Sharma, who retired
from T20Is last year after guiding India to T20 World Cup triumph in Barbados, followed by his retirement from Test cricket in May this year, he remains only active in ODIs, alongside veteran Virat Kohli.
While the duo were set to return in August, but with the postponement of the white-ball tour of Bangladesh, they will now mark their return in the upcoming Australia tour, which begins from October 19. Ahead of the series, the 38-year-old hit the nets at the Shivaji Park in Mumbai. While the site was one to behold, a large number of spectators gathered to watch Rohit return to the field.

During the training session at Mumbai’s iconic Shivaji Park, Rohit Sharma was seen at his best, hitting sixes and boundaries with ease, but in a video going viral, he brought his anger on the front as he was spotted scolding a security for denying an entry to a young fan. In a heartwarming moment, a young fan managed to sneak past the ropes, but his eagerness to meet his idol was hampered by a security.
However, the 38-year-old upon seeing this, was quick to intervene as he scolded the personnel for stopping the kid. After the incident, the guard let go off the fan, who finally approached Rohit. In another video, another young fan was spotted getting his MI t-shirt autographed by Rohit Sharma.
